Meet Dr Anthony Giummarra DMD (UWA) PGCERT (Dent Imp)
Dr Anthony Giummarra (Dentist) is a very practical person who loves working with his hands. He was drawn to dentistry because he enjoys creating and tailoring treatments to meet an individual’s needs.
This field has given him the flexibility and variability to take his career in whatever direction he wanted. His focus is on implants and other surgical work while still providing a full range of dental services to his patients.
An Educational Journey
Anthony is originally from Melbourne, completing his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from La Trobe University. He then moved to Western Australia, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine at UWA in 2017.
Since then, he has earned a postgraduate certification in Dental Implantology from the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology (UK) in 2022.
Helping Others
Anthony began practising in a busy dental practice in Darwin after moving to the Northern Territory. He added to his general dental knowledge while there and enjoyed treating all the various dental needs of his patients.
Anthony is passionate about dentistry and strives to provide the highest quality care. He has an interest in all aspects of dentistry, with a growing interest in minor oral surgery, wisdom tooth removal, and implants. He is also authorised to work with IV sedation methods.

Away From the Clinic
Outside of dentistry, Anthony enjoys cooking, fishing, spending time with his friends and family, and walking his dog.
