Welcome to our practice! We’re glad you chose us for your dental healthcare needs. Our team offers a full range of services to provide you with the best possible outcomes. When you arrive, we’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork before meeting our dentist. Please allow 40 minutes for the initial appointment.
When You Come to the Clinic
On your first visit to our clinic, our receptionist will greet you warmly, and you will be given a medical history form and other paperwork, which we will use to create a patient file. When done, you will be shown to a room where you will meet our dentist and the nurse. We will discuss what brought you in and what we can do to help. If it’s been a while since you saw a dentist, we will suggest x-rays be taken to make sure there’s nothing serious that needs to be urgently addressed.
Our dentists will never push for treatment to begin at this visit. If just a check up and clean is needed, we’re happy to do so. In cases where the need for further treatment is indicated, we’ll talk about it with you, give our recommendations, and let you decide how you wish to proceed.
The goal would be to help you understand exactly what you need going ahead. We don’t want to just give a list of items and say this is what you need. We want to make it clear, so that you know exactly what each procedure is and why you need it. Having real transparency throughout the entire process is essential.
